2025 Victoria Flamenco Festival

With the support of the City of Victoria Arts Strategy grant, the Flamenco de la Isla Society is proud to present the Victoria Flamenco Festival in 2025!

This year’s festival has a focus on flamenco shows and music workshops. The Society is bringing back the Flamenco Guitar & Music Night with local guitarists and singers, on SUNDAY JULY 20 at Hermann’s Jazz Club; and we are happy to partner with Alma de España to present two Tablao shows back-to-back on SUNDAY JULY 27 at the Mint with exciting guest artists.

Along with local flamenco instructors Veronica Maguire, Gareth Owen, Denise Yeo, and Iminah Kani Amal-Hill, we are thrilled to bring Vicente Griego, cantaor from Albuquerque, New Mexico and Davide Sampaolo, flamenco percussionist from Vancouver/Rome to this year’s festival. All flamenco music workshops will be offered at both open and advanced levels.
